Did you know that you have a Father in heaven who loves you perfectly? He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. He sees the pain of your struggle. He knows the depths it’s taken you to, and He wants to meet you right in the middle of it—in the hardened, dark places of your heart that feel void of all hope, joy, and life; and in the deep down, hidden places where shame, doubt, anxiety, and fear like to hide out. If you are struggling with anxiety and fear—your Heavenly Father’s perfect love has the power to free you!
Maybe, you’re struggling with feelings of hopelessness. You feel completely overwhelmed by your life’s circumstances. Maybe, you doubt that you will ever experience freedom from the grip anxiety and fear have on you. But, I am here to tell you that freedom is possible, here and now, in the Father’s love!
However, there is only one way to the Father.
Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
Once, we were separated from the love of our Heavenly Father because of our sin, but because of His great love for us, our Heavenly Father made a way for us to be reconciled to Him—through belief in His son, Jesus Christ!
John 3:16, says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Our sin separates us from the Father’s love. We deserve death because of our sin. The Father, however, loves us so much that He made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. To be reconciled to His love. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to earth (God made flesh) to die a gruesome, horrible death on a cross, to pay the penalty for our sins (all our sins past, present and future), so that we could live free from anything that would try to keep us in bondage.
If you haven’t yet made Jesus Lord of your life, there is reason to fear. You don’t yet have a Savior there to help you. You see, only Jesus has the power to overcome all the anxiety and fear in our lives. And so, this is where our journey must begin—with Him!
If you haven’t started that journey with Him, you can start now. You can call upon Jesus’s name, and start your own journey out of living in fear—towards living perfectly loved in the Father’s love!
There is power in the blood of Jesus that was spilled for you on Calvary’s hill to overcome all the powers of darkness, and all the flaming arrows of the devil. Jesus, who overcame death, who was raised to life, and who is now seated at the right hand of the Father, is interceding for you. Thus, if you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, nothing need keep you from the Father’s love, His blessing, His help, His provision, His grace, and His freedom.
“The Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God” (John 16:27).
God bless you!
